It’s almost that time of the year, where the best-of-the-best successes in the field of Modern Marketing are celebrated. More specifically: the prestigious Markie Awards are upon us.

For those who don’t know, Oracle initiated the Markie Awards in 2007 to honor excellence in data-driven marketing, spotlighting organizations that have delivered exceptional customer experiences. Open to all marketers, this year’s global awards program covers twenty categories, spanning omni-channel marketing, content and social marketing, data management, marketing innovation, analytics, and more. We are thrilled to announce that for the 12th Annual Markie Awards, together with our clients Samsung Electronics France and Philips Lighting, we are nominated in the categories of Best Lead Management Program, Best Video Submission and Best International Campaign.

Enterprise Mobility Campaign

Best Lead Management Program and Best Video Submission

Samsung Electronics France planned to deliver their new solution ‘Security for Mobility’ to the marketplace. The main objective was to capture leads, however marketing and sales found themselves miles apart when it came to alignment on lead management. In addition, they experienced difficulty in measuring marketing ROI.

Here’s where Engagement Factory came into play. Together we created the Enterprise Mobility Campaign. Now that the results are in, we are not too shy to say that they are beyond expectations! In a matter of months, the Samsung team evolved from a product-push cost center into a customer-centric revenue center, not to mention the global best practice within the organization. We are proud to share that the Enterprise Mobility Campaign brought in:

Smart Cities Thought Leadership Campaign

Best International Campaign

The assignment from our client Philips Lighting had a clear objective: establish Philips Lighting thought leadership as a key player in Smart Cities, among target audiences in key regions, by creating and sharing relevant, high-valued content and expertise.

First, we conducted Buyer Persona research, to learn about the Smart Cities audience. Then we used these insights for the subsequent 3-phase email campaign, with which we communicated Philips Lighting leading position in the Lighting industry towards audiences across the globe. We leveraged high-valued, dynamic content for emails and landing pages, wrote tailored personalized email copy and insightfully used statistics to cross-promote relevant, unconsumed content.

The results speak for themselves: the campaign shows a medium result of 10% above the Philips benchmark, and 20% above the industry benchmark. Some emails even blew up the benchmarks with a Unique open rate of 79,1% / 78,5%, and Unique click through rate of 52,4% / 55,7%. Finally, the unexpected impact on lead generation thanks to campaign efforts were highly impressive, with 85 MQLs generated in the first year alone.
