Ensuring an event runs smoothly almost becomes a military operation when large groups of people come together. Thanks to the QR campaign and mobile app (Gate Access Support app) of Engagement Factory, the DLL Runners home & Fan zone at the DLL Marathon Eindhoven went digital to ensure a flawless event experience.

No more waiting in lines and long and complicated excel spreadsheets with digital access passes. Prior to the event runners and guests received a unique QR code which served as their access pass. Upon arrival the QR code was read from the email or printout using the DLL mobile app which was specifically designed for the event. With all the attendee information at their fingertips, the event staff was able to easily direct people to the correct areas. This digital check-in procedure not only eliminated paperwork and long lines, it also provided real-time status information on all invitees, simplifying event communication and the event follow up. And last but not least, the digitalization of guests management ensured the event organization had complete and precise information in case of emergencies guaranteeing a safe run of events.

To rate the success of the event Engagement Factory also created a Mobile Survey app. Upon exiting the event, guests were asked to provide feedback using ipads as a questionnaire tool. By getting this information straight after the event DLL was able to collect instant feedback resulting in a NPS of 90,4%!
